Elijah is THREE!

Elijah turned 3 on March 15th. He loved his birthday so much. He has been waiting for it since Lydia's birthday in January. For 2 months he's been saying,"My birthday's in March." When we told him it was his birthday he said, "It's March?! Yeah!" When we brought him his cake he was singing "Happy Birthday" louder than anyone. When we set the cake in front of him he stopped in mid sentence and said,"Whoa!" He loved every minute of his big day. Lydia was a little jealous that it wasn't her birthday but she didn't let it show. She was very sweet with him and really helped him enjoy his day. Here they are opening his present from Grandma Roskelley. He loved the "Cars" flashlight. Notice the "Sunday" shoes in the picture. He loves to wear Sunday clothes, even his hard Sunday shoes that need to be retied every five minutes.

This is the new bike Eli got for his birthday. We had no choice but to get him a bike after Christmas. Dallin and Lydia both got bikes and he kept asking where his bike was. He looked behind the couch and everywhere for his bike. Never mind the tractor Santa brought he wanted to know where his bike was. It was heartbreaking. So he was definitely getting one for his birthday. It talks, plays music and the lights really work. He didn't want to get off it all night long. He kept using his new flashlight to sneak down stairs and sit on his bike. Even after midnight I kept finding him sitting there.
